Towards the seventh Festival of Design in Guatemala

On April 27 is celebrated around the world the Day of Design. Last year, order to give relevance the date in Guatemala opened at the Red House Cultural Center exhibition which brought together the four winning designers festivals Guatemalan previous design: Norma de Leon Sua Agape, Ale and Diana Barahona Peren.
 

The Festival award took him last year Alejandra Marroquin, of El Salvador, who was chosen from over 160 works submitted. It was also important because in the context of the Festival took place the II Tournament Enlightenment, which consists of a clash of artists, illustrators, cartoonists, who with a bounded time, usually five minutes, you should make your proposal. Each is assigned a concept which should illustrate vinyl surface on a 7.90 x 1.20. The illustrators are removed directly after each round of competition until the jury chooses the winner.This year has just opened registration for the tournament Third Guatemala, whose final round will be Saturday May 18, 2013. So the party begins again.
